Raised floors

One of the key elements of a server-room is the technical floor (raised), which serves both as an air-supply duct and a space for the power supply and telecommunications’ installation.

In the area of active raised floors, Makas-System is a distributor of the Stulz AirBooster Pro solution for high-density racks.

Standard raised floor solutions used by Makas-System - Polish ERAR-SYSTEM products.

Advantages of ERAR SYSTEM ® raised floors.

Facilitating even at the stage of construction works:

  • floor installation work may be performed on a relatively uneven surface (e.g. scratched sharp screed)
  •  speed of work,
  • assembly is dry, using only adhesives and screw connections,
  •  no need for leveling of the raw substrate surface or preparing a concrete floor,
  • simple installation facilitates work even in difficult construction conditions, which may occur especially in modernization projects – progress is much faster than with currently used technologies.

Floorboard materials:

  •  highly compressed particle board, impregnated with a resin of 650 to 750 kg / m3 density - conductive version, with conductive side-veneer; underside coated with 0.2 mm-thick aluminum foil, 0,5 mm galvanized sheet steel,
  • gypsum-plaster board (anhydrite, integral gypsum), cellulose-reinforced, density of 1500 kg / m3
  • aluminum made as aluminum alloy cast with strong ribbing underneath,
  • concrete - floor slab made of specially-produced light concrete, edges finished with a steel gutter -  protecting floor edges and guaranteeing maximum possible stability of the floor slab.
  • Each floor slab is reinforced with additional steel mesh (wire grid, 1 mm thick), in order to increase the permissible load of the floor system; slab dimensions: 600x600x32,5 mm.

Supporting structure:

  • VARIANT 1: free-standing pillars made of galvanized steel sheet St3Sx, glued to the substrate or fixed with dowels, anchors.
  • VARIANT 2: free-standing pillars made of galvanized steel sheet St3Sx, connected by crossbars (grid beams - otherwise known as traverses).
  • ERAR SYSTEM ® provides the highest possible to obtain stability of a structure, due to the need for tightening the cross-beams to floor foot crowns. Pillars are glued to the substrate or fixed with dowels, anchors.
  • VARIANT 3: free-standing pillars made of galvanized steel sheet St3Sx, connected with heat-galvanized C 40/40/2 steel profiles.
  • ERAR SYSTEM ® provides the highest possible to obtain stability of a structure, due to the need for tightening the cross-beams to floor foot crowns. Pillars are glued to the substrate or fixed with dowels, anchors.
  • • VARIANT 4: free-standing pillars made of galvanized steel sheet St3Sx, connected with heat-galvanized C 80/40/2 steel profiles.
ERAR SYSTEM ® provides the highest possible to obtain stability of a structure, due to the need for tightening the cross-beams to floor foot crowns. Pillars are glued to the substrate or fixed with dowels, anchors. This solution may work with variant 3, guaranteeing safety for heavy devices situated on this construction, without the necessity for construction of special foundations by the hardware vendor, e.g. in LV and NW distribution centers.
